The current characters I have on (or am in the process of getting onto ) this site are Geisha, Spice Road, Dante, and Oriel. I've also got Malabar, Crossfade, and Indesvara that I could join. I'm here to offer them all to the collective plottage of the site. Descriptions of all will follow.
GEISHA
(Mind you, this is all my idea of things. If I've got it wrong, tell me.)
A young, naive, and maltreated runaway concubine. She has been captured by Thunder. She is not currently pregnant, but I'd like her to be soon. She is (or will be) riotously jealous of Thunder's (soon to be?) lead mare, Missi- although not at all over Thunder's affections. She may also feel a sense of sistership for Missi (because they are so much alike), and also a sense of protection (she attends to Thunder's dark desires, and indirectly insures Missi can live in the light). Geisha is available to anyone fortheft, rape, impregnation, and abuse.
Spice Road
A grownup foundling with a foul mouth, hot temper, and mind of her own. She's 85% tomboy, 15% lost princess, and pickled in angst. (The cause of this is actually somewhat -I'm understating - original- more on that later.) Discovered as a foal -wandering on her own, mysteriously self-sufficient, in the middle of winter- by a mare named Crow'a, she spent her early childhood in-and-out of a dysfunctional, but human (work with me here ), set of darks, in a desolate land called Hurricane Meadows. (Real life.) When HM emptied out, she set out on the road alone, and met her adoptive brother, Dante as a yearling. They have wandered, together or alone, crossing paths and parting ways, ever since. Her first love was a light called Tzigane, a green-eyed Gypsy Vanner. She lied about her name and alliance to be with him, and traveled with him to the Sea. They lived there, renting space from the lead stallion, for a few months, before the deception their love had been built on grew too great for Road to bear. She ran away, and loves him still. Beyond this, she has had precious little experience with herd life. She's a loner, dyed in the wool- which is fortunate, because of a certain twist of fate that inevitably gets her exiled when it's found out.
Whether or not I play Road's dark secret depends on whether or not the site I'm on likes it. (So, tell me: go or no go? ;3) Road is a flesh-eater- carnivorous, omnivorous, predatory, whatever. It was the plot of a site I ran a few years back; I liked it so much I kept it around. She's a little different physically -I'll give you the run-down later if you want- but the important thing is how being weird like this has influenced her self-concept. People do keep running her out of town with the equine equivalent of pitchforks; she feels like a monster, and there's nothing she can do about it. She doesn't trust people, because of always having to hide what she is. She can't try to be normal -join a herd, have a baby, be in love, just to see what it's like- because she's afraid she'd reveal herself somehow- that the people she loves would instantly hate and fear her, and drive her out -and that she might have to hurt them, even kill them, to get away.
Again, whether or not that whole previous paragraph goes back under the rug depends on you guys. If you like my crazy idea, the running bit between Thunder and Missi about the hawk and the rabbit caught my eye- Road would inevitably be looking at the falcon in that scene, thinking, So, you get to eat another day <3. It would be a nice juxtaposition.
Also, I'm always shoving Road straight in the middle of big herds who have completely different values than her, and don't know it, just because it's fun. XD Road's battle with yes or no to the mainstream is much fun.
DANTE
A merry, sardonic minstrel and seditionist. Dante was the illegitimate, first-born son of a small herd's alpha. His mother was a non-herd mare, roving, independent, a bit of an occultist -never exactly proper company- who, after she seduced the alpha away from his harem, disappeared -ran away, was kidnapped, committed suicide, who knows- under mysterious circumstances. Dante got to fill in for his mum as the object of the other wives' ire. He never exactly got hung up on the approval of others, or of normal thinking, as a result. He ran away from home when he was a yearling, and never regretted it. He met his adoptive sister, Road, a year after that. He's roved, pleasure-seeking, entertaining revolutionary ideas, and causing trouble, ever since. He loves kids. (And he's bi. XD)
ORIEL
A shy and sheepish dreamer who wanders aimlessly. He's the gentle, artistic kind of boy who always gets picked on on the playground- but over the years of taking care of himself, he's gained (half of ;3) a quiet sort of strength. He's not tough, but he's durable, if you get what I'm saying...? Physically, he reflects this- always a little dusty, skin scuffed up with thorn scars, can never get all the tangles out of his hair. Mind you, he's also still halfway a spineless wimp XD
His build is 'practical, normal', with a touch of 'femninity-where-it-oughtn't-be'. His mane, for example- it's very long, and always gets the flak for making him look like a girl (as well as every other sort of flak he can think of. He hates it.) But, then again, his mane doesn't exactly deserve all of it- he's just not that masculine. Nevertheless, he is very interested in girls, thank you, and it would take a large amount of convincing to make him look elsewhere. (Then again... could you be convinced, Ori? <x< Now, courting girls is another kettle of fish. His shyness, and lack of self-worth, make him not-exactly-a-ladies'-man. But, his kindness and his courtesy make him much nicer to talk to than he thinks.
XD I should probably rewrite this later, when I have more of a brain, but oh well...
To recap! Oriel is open to getting whisked off by whichever of our lovely ladies gets to him first, getting mistaken for a girl and getting roughed up by any of our more masculine boyos. If anybody should want to try to ..."convince"... him... nicely or not... contact me. I dun think I'll get any takers, tho'. :/
